Our childcare programs focus on children’s progress in their developing stage. At such young ages, they need the appropriate attention, education, and resources that can help them learn freely. With that, our educators use their knowledge and skills to guide them in their challenges and discovery. We will be with you and your child to ensure that they become competent and great individuals in the future.
What We Offer
Toddlers
The Toddler classroom and play yard have been carefully designed to accommodate children from 18-30 months of age. The selection of furnishings, toys, activities and planned curriculum all have your little ones in mind. The clean, tidy classroom partnered with a nurturing environment will provide a safe place where young students can develop physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually. There is a 6:1 child/teacher ratio in this classroom which allows your child to receive the attention they need as they actively engage with the teachers and classmates throughout their stay.
2-Year-Olds
This is a play-centered classroom. Teachers present meaningful activities for children to choose from. We believe play is children’s work and allows them to solve and work on everyday problems. The structure of the class allows for considerable socialization, which is a large part of our curriculum. Teaching them to share, use their words and wait their turn are skills that will serve them for a lifetime. Potty training, washing hands and snack time help teach independence and autonomy. Circle Time teaches children to sit, listen and participate in group activities as they are introduced to beginning numbers, letters, colors, songs, prayers and more.
3-Year-Olds
Three’s students have all been potty trained and have the ability to verbally communicate their needs and wants. Reinforcing socialization skills is a large part of our daily routine. As fine motor skills are beginning to develop, we offer more opportunities to write, color, cut with scissors, glue and more. Writing and recognizing numbers, letters and names will begin to be mastered in this classroom.
Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K)
Pre-K classrooms are designed to prepare students for Kindergarten and beyond. Focus on social and communication skills is crucial to a child’s overall success. Games, free play, and S.T.E.A.M. activities provide students with opportunities to collaborate, problem-solve and develop important social skills. Fun age-appropriate curriculum in math, writing, phonics, Bible, S.T.E.A.M., and homework are intended to help students develop a love for learning.
Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
Children whose birthdays fall between Sept 2 – Dec 2 will be enrolled in our TK Program. Essentially, these students will receive the gift of time to build upon the foundational education they have received thus far in their home and school experience. This classroom allows students who have thus far been the youngest in their class to become the oldest for the next 12 years of their education. This truly is a gift, and parents should be encouraged for the opportunity.
Kindergarten
Kindergarten students demonstrate a significant jump in social skills and in brain development from their preschool peers. According to Kindergarten teachers, students who display autonomy and strong social skills thrive in the classroom. Individual desks, independent desk work, listening exercises, group projects, introduction to new concepts and problem solving provide the age-appropriate challenges they need for their ongoing brain development.
Bible Study/Chapel
Our Bible curriculum is set up and designed to help strengthen the foundation of Christian values in the lives of young children that will be evident in their daily lives. Christian life values are presented daily in class with morning prayer, learning stories and memorizing Bible verses, along with weekly Chapel gatherings. All the lessons correlate with a theme and reinforce basic skills that will enhance and foster the main principles of our school’s philosophy in the area of physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual growth.
Laugh & Learn Summer Camp
Our 2-month summer program is an exciting opportunity to engage our students in a multi-age learning environment. Every summer, we embark on a new, fresh Thematic Teaching curriculum which reinforces and further explores all the concepts the students have learned the previous school year. Summer’s thematic curriculum is a fun and exciting enrichment program which enables students to learn about things such as other cultures, countries, science, music, and sports. Water Play Day is a popular summer activity where we take advantage of Southern California’s warm days. This truly is an opportunity for children to Laugh & Learn.
